Community and Pastoral Ministry:

I approach pastoral care as a ministry of presence — grounded in deep listening and trust. Here’s my reflection on what that looks like to me: https://www.uua.org/worship/words/benediction/benediction-chaplains-ministry-presence

On June 1, 2025 I represented AAIC for its first ever participation in Attleboro’s Pride Day by composing and delivering a Queer Blessing at the Town Hall.

That same month, I also conducted a workshop for cancer patients titled “Caring for Yourself Through the Journey: Self-Care for Those Affected by cancer”.

In September 2024, I conducted an interfaith wedding in Chicago which was truly egalitarian, incorporating Jewish and Hindu traditions.

The following month I conducted the wedding of an unhoused couple living in a tent city in the woods in Attleboro. It was an incredible way by which the whole community would come together to support the couple.

I have presided over several interfaith services including the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving service in Attleboro and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. service.

I have conducted several memorial and interment services.

I continue to be a Guest Preacher during Sunday Services across MA congregations. I have also preached at non-UU Churches.
