My Theology

My theology has evolved in the course of my roller-coaster faith journey. Over the years, I learned about the deep connections between Unitarian Universalism and Hinduism. Both affirm that truth is not confined to one scripture, one prophet, or one belief system. Both embrace pluralism and the sacred unity of all life, honor the divine in all beings, encourage a free and responsible search for truth and meaning and invite ethical living as well as service (seva) as part of a larger cosmic interconnection.

Ethical allyship that I have embraced is not just about intention but about action and requires me to speak up for those who are harmed — individuals, communities, and the earth itself, and to hold accountable those who cause harm.
